We provide International Shipping! We also offer Free Shipping to select locations in Canada and the USA on orders above a specified amount, as stated on our website.

We aim to process and ship all orders within 24-48 business hours of order confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays. Processing times may be slightly longer during peak seasons or promotional periods. Please rest assured that we work closely with shipping companies to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible

For orders shipped internationally, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and additional fees imposed by the destination country. Failure to comply with customs requirements may lead to delays or extra charges which we are not responsible for.

Delivery Issues:

While we strive for smooth and hassle-free deliveries, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays or delivery issues. If your package does not arrive within the estimated timeframe or you encounter any delivery issues, please contact us for assistance.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses:

Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for delays or non- delivery of orders due to incorrect and incomplete address information provided by the customer. To avoid any delivery issues, please double-check and include all necessary details, such as buzzer code, gate code, unit numbers, and any other relevant information. Thank you for your cooperation

Restricted Items:

Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions or regulations imposed by local authorities or international shipping regulations. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the shipment of restricted items. If you attempt to purchase a restricted item that cannot be shipped to your location, we will notify you and cancel the order if necessary.

Lost Packages:

In the rare event that your package is lost damaged, please contact us and the career immediately. We will initiate a thorough investigation and work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue promptly. Please note that certain carriers may require a waiting period before initiating a claim for lost packages.

At How Rare, we take great pride in implementing a dual verification process for every online order, effectively reducing the occurrence of shipping errors or faulty items and minimizing customer dissatisfaction:

Returns:

1.1 Eligibility: In order to qualify for a return, it is necessary for the item to be in the exact condition as received, without any signs of wear or use, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. Additionally, you must possess the receipt or proof of purchase. If the item meets this criteria, a credit will be issued to the original credit card used for the transaction. Please note that items failing to meet this criteria may not be eligible for return and could be subject to a restocking fee.

1.2 Timeframe: You have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1.3 Return Process: To start a return, please email us at [email protected]. We will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

1.4 Shipping Costs:. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you need to return an item that was shipped for free, the refund you receive will be the item’s price minus our standard delivery shipping cost and the return shipping cost. The only exception to this policy is if an item received is defective.

1.5 A 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items.

1.6  Refund Process: Upon receiving and inspecting your return, we will promptly notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, the net refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method. Please allow some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If you have not received a refund within 5-10 business days, we recommend the following steps:

  • First, check with your bank and credit card company, as there is often a processing time before a refund is officially posted.
  • If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at [email protected].

Refunds will be issued in the original payment form and price, excluding any return shipping charges and applicable handling fees. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your bank account.

Exchanges:

2.1 Eligibility: Exchanges are only available for damaged items.

2.2 Damaged Items: If you receive a damaged item, it is important to promptly report it within 24 hours of delivery by contacting us via email. Please provide detailed information, including photos, and a thorough description of the issue. We will then provide you with further instructions regarding the exchange process. Additionally, the damaged item must be returned in its original packaging.

Order Cancellation:

3.1 Before Shipping: For items that have not shipped, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund to your credit card minus the an applicable transaction fee. Please contact us immediately to request the cancellation. In any case, after 24 hours, your order is considered in process and not eligible for cancellation. If you still wish to cancel and the items are not shipped, we charge a 10% restocking fee of the order value.

3.2 After Shipping: Once an item has been shipped, we are unable to cancel the order.

Non-Eligible Items for Return:

The following items are NOT eligible for return or refund:

  • Fabric items like Pillow covers (unless damaged)
  • Any returned items that are not in their original condition or have been damaged, not due to our error.
  • Sale items and gift cards.

Damages and Issues:

Please inspect your order upon receipt and immediately notify the carrier of any visible damage or tampering. Contact us within 24 hours to report the issue, providing photographs or videos of the damaged packaging and item if requested. Your prompt action is appreciated to ensure a timely resolution.

Stolen Shipments:

We are not responsible for stolen packages. We highly recommend collecting your shipment immediately upon delivery to minimize the risk of theft. In the unfortunate event of theft, we advise filing a police report. Please note that How Rare will not issue refunds for stolen shipments, as they are not covered by our policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
